Problems with MSN??

Anyone else having problems with MSN on here? Failure to log on (saying it cant detect an internet connection..even though all is fine) has happened a few times

And recently messages have been sent, but not received...which leads the person who has sent the message thinking that the other person is either slow or cant be bothered to reply

Any similar problems you have had please post here

Are you using Internet Explorer or Firefox as your browser?

I have come across this problem a few times with people who use Firefox (not that it's a a problem with Firefox).

Check whether you can open a webpage in IE. If you can, then it may mean that the MSN server is down. If you can't then it means that your IE connection settings are wrong. Even though you use Firefox all the time, Messenger relies on the connection settings in IE being correct otherwise it won't connect.
