What is every bodies Top Ten Films of all time ?

Mine are as follows ::

Godfather 1
Godfather 2
On the Waterfront
Cape Fear (1962)
Ace in the Hole
Sunset Boulevard
Annie Hall
Brief Encounter
Manhattan
Godfather 3

But I have left out so many ! If I had tried to put those into a 1 to 10 order, I would still be at it this time next year.

Sqads in particular mikey & a few more there.
Mikey you're not in news - don't jump to inaccurate assumptions. I never said I didn't understand them I just don't find the pathos of Woody Allen remotely entertaining.
LOTR Return of the King
Gladiator
Hot Fuzz
Shawshank Redemption
The Wizard of Oz
Silence of the lambs
The hunt for red October
Inception
Breakfast Club
Beauty and the Beast (Disney)

...and loads more.
Breakfast Club ... great film tigger!

Prudie...don't get your in a twist ! I know this is chatterbox, and I was only teasing...get down off your high-horse for goodness sake. This is meant to be light-hearted !
I grew up watching Brat Pack movies, Elina :o)
Pretty In Pink/ Weird Science / Top Gun tigger ;0) How did I leave out Uncle Buck!! Gorgeous man!
Mikey seems we've both misunderstood each other then, i'm not in the slightest on my high horse and I'm not wearing any knickers, it's Sunday morning :-)
Grease
Gone with the wind
One flew over the cuckoo's nest
Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs
Brief Encounter
Waterloo Bridge
Dial M for Murder
Samson and Delilah
Wizard of Oz
Silence of the Lambs
The Witches of Eastwick
Weird Science is brilliant and funny. I loved St. Elmos Fire even though it was a bit of a turkey. Also loved Rumblefish and The Outsiders.

Wasn't too keen on Top Gun. Preferred An Officer and a Gentleman although that wasn't a Brat Pack film.
LOL!! Love him x

Prudie,
I'll very happily replace my choice of "The Perfect Storm" with either "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", or, "Dances with Wolves," or, "Sleepless in Seattle".
I am not a fan of Woody Allen either; but many people love him, so that's fine!
Donnie Darko
Close Encounters of the THIRD kind
ELF
War Games
War of the Worlds
ET
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Despicable Me
Short Circuit
Armageddon
Shawshank Redemption
The Green Mile
The Colour Purple
See No Evil, Hear No Evil
Drop Dead Fred
Quartet
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
The Jerk
The Goonies
Some like it Hot.... and loads more
I concur that choosing just 10 is almost impossible and some of my favourites have already been mentioned. In no particular order;

Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Cuckoo's Nest, Godfather (1), Scent Of A Woman (not so much for the plot but mainly for the brilliant acting of Pacino), Green Mile, The Departed, Redemption, Last Of The Mohicans (as much for the rousing music as anything else) and The Whicker Man (the more sinister version with Edward Woodward).
