Can any ABers please tell me why some of the artwork for the music I have in my iTunes on my laptop doesn't appear on my iPhone5?

If you've synced your iPhone to iTunes, then it might be those without artwork are in the iCloud and need to be downloaded...unlikely, but this is all I can think of.

Thanks Jomlett, although I don't understand the "theory" of your answer or how to solve my issue.

I've just checked my tracks on the iPhone and some of the tunes have a a cloud with a red arrow next to them and some needed to be downloaded to play.

Some of my artwork for albums I DIDN'T purchase from iTunes is missing as Apple "couldn't find them!" So just a grey square to replace the artwork and ditto on my iPhone.
