Cleaning soft tops??

I have an MR2 and was wondering how best to clean the soft top? Is there a special cleaning agent you could buy or is it just a case of bucket and sponge, the top is made of a cloth type material as opposed to vinyl.

When i had a soft top i used a product called Renovo which was very good, you should be able to google it. I was advised to be careful about using normal cleaning products as they might leave little white spots on your roof, something to do with the detergent in them.
