-When Jesus said the Easter events is predicted in accordance to the scriptures, what 'scriptures' was he referring to?

-What false accusations did the high priests claim to warrant Jesus' execution?

-And finally (here's a slightly tough one) why do Muslims think Jesus (aka Issa) is merely a prophet and not the son of man?

I think I might know the answer to the last question could it be that Angel Gabriel told the Prophet Muhammed (whilst writing the Quaran) in that cave that the whole New Testament was a typo and Jesus was just a prophet. Or in the other side of the argument (according to Dan Brown-ites) that the original gospels didn't claim jesus was the son of man in the first place.....Nah it's just me being stupid so any answers will be greatly appreciated!

So what is he, Son of man or son of god ?
Question Author

Supose to be the same meaning... supposively..

1. Prophet Isaiah (Is. 53).

2. "We found this man perverting our nation, and forbidding us to give tribute to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ the King." The chief priests and elders were agitated saying, "He stirs up the people teaching throughout all Judea, from Galilee even to here." Pilate said to them, "Take Him yourselves and crucify Him, for I find no crime in Him." The Jews answered him, "We have a law; and by that law, He ought to die because He has made Himself the Son of God."

3. In Islam, Jesus (called Isa) is considered one of God's most beloved and important prophets, a bringer of divine scripture, and also the Messiah. Muslims, however, do not share the Christian belief in the crucifixion or divinity of Jesus. Islam teaches that Jesus is alive in heaven and will return to the earth as Messiah in the company of the Mahdi once the earth has become full of sin and injustice. The Ahmadiyya interpretation is that Jesus was crucified but survived the 4 hours on the cross; he was revived from a swoon in the tomb and died in Kashmir of old age whilst seeking the "Lost Tribes of Israel"

Hi

Reading your last question, is that even mohamed is also a prophet at the same title as Jesus and Boudha al of it is more an underbelief of one and unic supreme bean also called God, the great geomatrician of the univers, the theall michty, the most High and many more. If if have a look on internet youcould find a lot of infounder the general word "religions"

The scriptures that Jesus referred were the Hebrew scriptures or what many people call the Old Testament. The Hebrew scriptures contain many prophecies concerning the birth, life and death of the Messiah. There are too many for me to list but the ones concerning his death are very important at this time. Zech.11;12 stated that he would be betrayed for 30 pieces of silver. This was fulfilled in Mark 14;10,11.Ps 22;7,8 states that he would be reviled whilst being executed. This was fulfilled in Matt 27;39-43. Ps.34:20 states that he would have no bones broken and this was fulfilled in John 19:33,36. Hope this helps.
Just felt that I must add that for one man to fulfill so many prophecies there must have been something exceptional about him and far from just being a prophet he was most certainly the son of God.
