The ECHR has never been about human rights, it's been about human rights lawyers getting things over turned for their criminal scum clients.
Linda,
The ONS say youth unemployment is reducing, which is true. But the Coalition inherited a trend of reducing unemployment and then it shot up after 2 years. The figures are reducing on the 2012 high, not reducing (or not much) on the figure when they took power.
Gromit I think unemployment shot up because of the recession (caused by Labour) kicked in. I know it's been painful with the cuts but Balls wanted to spend his way out. Labour has a history of passing on a poor economy then inheriting a healthy one. We would have been a basket case like Greece if Labour had won in 2010. You can't deny we are on the way up now.
tonyav. I think Domenic Grieve was never in tune with the real people about the ECHR. Most people are thoroughly fed up of being dictated to by these unrepresentative judges. Do you really think other countries abide by the judgements? The Charter has moved away massively from what is was supposed to do when it was first drawn up. Listen to the people!

I know and I totally agree with that, lindapalmara. I thought it was interesting what the Attorney General had to say though.
