...not to really spoil Rebecca's thread.....

While I was hugging an old (and much younger) friend tonight because it looks like her cancer may just be beaten...Lord I hope so.... she whispered in my ear....

Have you heard about S.... a mutual friend.....her cancer is terminal and she wants us to visit her but not cry.....

And I thought....sh**....why do we get so strung up about silly things and not live life to the full while we can......

And....wine.....a bag of minstrels and an old ciggie makes you feel sick.....☺

I feel sad too when I hear about families falling out or even best friends ..... life really is too short.

I'm sure you will say the right thing at the time gness. An old friend of OH. Phoned yesterday to say his cancer has come back big time. He has been suffering for year with prostate, now he has it in liver and bowel. He will not have anymore treatment as he had had enough over the last 5 years. He isn't saying how long he has. His wife had pancreatic cancer and died six weeks after diagnosis.
Life's a *** sometimes.

When I was feeling really really crap someone brought strawferrries and champagne and I felt so awful I couldnt do either....
