what's the best email account to go with for email's easty and spam free? thanks

I have tried quite a few, and the only one I would recommend is googlemail. Yahoo were a disaster as I constantly got hacked and rubbish was sent to everyone on my contact list. Hotmail was unreliable and mail.com kept crashing. No problems so far with googlemail.

I've had no trouble with Hotmail and Gmail. Hotmail lets more spam through but it puts in a folder which you can empty with one click (after you've made sure it really is spam). Gmail does the same, but either it lets less spam through or less gets sent to it in the first place.

I have gmail and btinternet - btinternet (I find) is better

http://www.gmx.com/ has the advantage of not being google

Been with Hotmail since 1997, now its Outlook but much the same. It can be opened worldwide! Rarely have problems except occasional virus emails from contacts. Hotmail send codes by mobile txt to reset account. Excellent service, highly recommend.

Yahoo has a lousy reputation for locking people out of their accounts.

Outlook.com (formerly Hotmail) isn't much better.

Google's GMail is widely praised (but some people don't like the way that all mail is scanned to work out the best ads to be shown).
