Due to my overindulgence in certain beverages I have just discovered that instead of taking my night time dose of vitamins I have inadvertently swallowed a double dose of laxative. What is my next move?

I'd avoid gong anywhere near a bike....
do not have something high in fibre like weetabix or oats to stiffen the stool. that's a contradiction, just let it out and maybe have a banana
no don't worry. oral laxatives take about 8 hours to ' work' sleep well,

When I used to teach I enjoyed telling the kids about George II who died on the toilet (not strictly true as he had a stroke there and died half an hour later). The testimony of his valet makes hilarious reading, given the times in which it was written. This was perhaps the only fact about the kings and queens of England that my pupils could remember.
Yes Ortitor but we have all been dying to know ....... did you go ;)

Actually, no ill effects whatsoever. Spent a comfortable night.
Glad you survived ;)
