What sort of price should I expect to pay for the service of a 3 yr old Toyota Yaris (30000 miles)? I don't intend to go to the dealer and I live in the NW, not far from Chester.

basic service should cost you around 70 which includes:

new spark plugs , oil , oil filter , fuel filter , air filter, break fluid, power steering fluid, break check, which should include the labour cost. now this all depends on which garage u go to. as some will be outrageous

Thanks - appreciate the advice. It gives me something to judge the price I'm quoted.
wow guddu05, wat garage is that? i work in a garage and a full service is usually between 125-160 all inc ps a basic service is usually a oil filter n pollen filter if applicable

36000 mile service for my car is 282 at the main dealer, about half that at a normal garage using dealer parts.

Depends on what the service involves.
