I put a colour on my hair yesterday which turned out much too dark, almost black. Whenever I've made a mistake in the past Ive used Daniel Galvin's Miracle Solution/Colour Corrector. Boots are no longer selling it,I also tried several smaller chemists and looked online but no joy. Can anyone help? TIA.

I too have had this problem with both semi permanent and permanent colours. The advice my hairdressing friend gave me was to have a couple of washes with a shampoo that strips your hair. I used original vosene but washing up liquid would do (followed by a good conditioner). Alternatively, go for a 'clarifying' shampoo which removes build up as these work well too! Pantene does one and so does Neutrogena. Good luck!

Wash your hair about 3 or 4 times (one after the other) with head and shoulders.

Hi girls, I washed my hair with washing up liquid,I could'nt believe how shiny it made my hair! I used my conditioner too but I have'nt had such a lovely sheen like this for years! Just for the sake of telling you, I used Asda's own the green one, smells of apples:-))
