Hi Ed......this may have been suggested before, not sure. Can we have a chat topic back again, but one that is instantly shut down at a certain time....maybe 12'O'clock.......just a suggestion.

How about a 'Friday Chat Room' which starts at 8.00am and disappears at 12.00pm every Friday? We could all wish each other a good weekend and be extra nice to each other :o)

It isn't as if chat topics don't still appear on here by stealth or other means. If this is going to be pursued then AB site management will need some lead-up time in order to get things properly organised.

The perfect date for a one-day trial of a revived chat service would have to be April 31st as it's by far the most suitable time.

Good point, twiglet and to be honest it seems that most of the former chatters on here have migrated to your place. I don't hold with those who complain that other sites are hard to manage given that they had to get used to this one in the first place. Thank you for providing the link in a more subtle manner than others have recently!

I quite agree ACW & twiglet - in the long run, CB proved to be more trouble than it was worth.

I much prefer it the way it is.

I prefer it the way it is too, although there are a couple of old 'faces' who I don't seem to come across in the topics which is a shame.

that said i am one of those that wouldn't join a dedicated chatroom as i find it all a bit intimidating and confusing � does anyone remember the original answerbook chat experiment, well that proved so popular I never saw any of them back on answerbank after a short while � anyhooo I joined that but those guys chatted so quick and so much I could never work out what anyone was talking about, I wonder if those guys are still out there anywhere � hello if you are!

One of my daughters was a member of Answerbook, but just didn't get time the to participate, so she left. I was also invited to join, but I declined for the same reason.
