It is Friday once again which means you should be getting your brains exercised in preparation for the two links games played tomorrow morning here in Q&P.

First to kick off will be the KM Game supervised from Australia by Seekeerz.
The words in that one come from The Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords and you have to guess what they are going to be paired with in Monday's 'Herculis' crossword. Equal chance of points all weekend. Game closes midnight Sunday. Results posted by seekeerz early Monday morning.

A little later you can try the challenge set by one of our own players, 'Lady Jill' (aka tearinghair) who will be back for the final time in this April Challenge. She will post an introduction in Q&P at 8:45 tomorrow, then at 9:00 exactly (or thereabouts) she will post the challenge itself.
In that version of the game, early play will increase your chance of collecting bonus points. That game closes at 7pm on Sunday when I will post the results.

Because this is the last game for April, the leaderboard placings will be decided on the outcome of these games and honours are at stake
In the previous MM game, Grannydi was knocked off the top by cliffyg, but can she retake her lead? Will one of the chasing pack go for a sprint finish and overtake both of them? Find out tomorrow.

In the KM Game, deecee1 holds pole position but by only 2 points ahead of cgoody, grannydi & roslyne 251254. Could we see Grannydi winning BOTH contests? We'll have to wait and see.

In the meantime, you may use the rest of this thread (affectionately known as 'The Shrubbery') for socialising.

Be sure to tune in in the morning.

Until then,
Happy Linking,
gen2
