... then there's a freepost address circulating around the internet which says you can return them at the party's expense.

The address provided is

If true, I thought it was worth sharing, but I also have no idea how to factcheck this. If it turns out to be true, I will certainly be doing this.

Any opportunity to let some of the wind out the farage balloon should be taken. He is an embarrassement to the country.
I shall be returning mine - one came through two days ago.
A bin is much easier, although I would love to make a bonfire out of them (and I don't just mean the leaflets...)

I've returned my leaflet using the address in Heathfield above and put on the back that it is from the address below which is definitely listed on the UKIP website for the lottery. So even if the Heathfield address might not work, the post office should return to the address below.

I'm rather surprised at this from you. I was under the impression that you were a staunch advocate of free speech. And yet here you are encouraging people to participate in a form of censorship. What you appear to be advocating is an attempt to financially disrupt a legitimate political party in order to either silence them completely or reduce their capacity for public engagement.

I find the implications of your "Question" quite unsavoury.

Hi birdie - only just seen your reply. I am an advocate of free speech, but I don't think this kind of activity violates it. And, in all honesty, I am not yet particularly convinced by UKIP's claims to be a legitimate party.

What a completely pathetic and ignorant statement. You demean and belittle yourself.
