Onwards and Downwards Continues in April 2014

Hello all,

Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.

Continuing with the seasonal food theme, and also skillfully avoiding the whole how to make Easter boring with no chocolate :-), in April we should be eating these sorts of things:

You can't be trying hard enough, I find it very easy to complain ! Do it here regularly.

Ho hum, I've gone up in the last 24 hours :-( So that means I've only stayed the same for the week because of that. That Costa mocha proved way more intake than I expected it to, and must be the reason I suppose.
Morning all . I will weigh tomorrow as I forgot after I got up dressed and had breakfast . I feel I have lost but will report tomorrow .
That's it OG blame the Mocha .
Staying the same is better than a gain xstitcher. I do it quite regular and know that I have been good .




Well, it was what put me over limit for yesterday, so it's either that or blame the scales again for the sudden jump.

It may have been that cream cake you had and forgot lol.
I tried a mocha about a month ago...it's almost all milk and served in a really tall glass, so if that milk was full fat OG hmmmmmmmm yep that'll do it!
Well I did feel as if I had lost but no I have stayed the same. Maybe that is due to the Steak and Stilton pie and bannoffee pie I had when I went out with my son last Thursday. Lucky to have stayed the same .
Ah it seems all those who popped in here this week have remained stable. Not a bad thing.

I want to say that I seem to have dropped most of the affects of the mocha :-) I think I should start weighing Thursdays ;-)

In my case at least part must be due to last week's 1 lb increase between Tuesday & Wednesday. This week it claims I went down 1 lb over the last 24 hours.

I just lost a little bit. It is the Easter lamb and potatoes we will be having on Sunday that I shall have to use every ounce OG self discipline.....can't wait as we only have it once a year. May I wish everybody here a Happy Easter!
Indeed, a happy Easter to all; referring to which, do you think everyone has been on an early Easter break these last couple of weeks ?
I've wondered that too OG. I think that maybe we haven't been able to help them enough . Never mind...the faithful few are still around.
Mark my words they will all be back with a vengeance wanting to fit into that bikini before the holidays. lol

Meanwhile, since the start of the year I've been putting my weighing results into a mobile phone app. Despite results being up & down & up & down like a fiddler's elbow, I noticed it gave an average for the period. Apparently I'm losing about 5¼ ounces a week. Which predicts I should be at target, if it keeps up, at around April Fools Day next year, which seems appropriate somehow.

Can't believe it, am down three pounds. I threw all caution to the wind and ate what I wanted to over Easter(no chocolate..don't like it) I hope the rest of you will be so lucky.☺️
