Issues With Resetting Iphone Password

After many months of hassle free use of my iphone every time I go to use it I get a message requesting me to log into icloud. When I do so it doesn't recognise the password, have reset the password, and it doesn't recognise the reset password. This isn't just logging onto itunes it's ANYTHING. What am I doing wrong/not doing.

Go to 'Settings' on the left hand side near the bottom is 'Passcode' there is a tab that says to erase the last 10 and some other options. Try there.

If you have jailbroken your device than someone might hack your account. try to log in your icloud account on other idevice; if yes, then you should take backup and restore your device.

Thanks, ending up speaking directly to apple in the end (didn't want to delete everything). All sorted.
