Talk about overkill. Yep, she is in the wrong but four coppers, just what are they thinking?

The Police still have a long way to get the public on their side! Perhaps they should employ plods with an once of brain an common sense.

Obviously a public Relations Exercise by the thin blue line.
One side of the story again. Did she meekly accept the FPN, give her details when asked or did she kick off?

If she had kicked off there would be more than a £100 fine. And even if she did - four burly coppers vs one young lady? (One assumes she was not popped up like the violent ones on the telly)
It's always heartening to see examples of the police getting their priorities right.
it's not even clear she was in the wrong. Where's the evidence she was driving without due care and attention? How much attention is due when you're stuck in traffic?

I'd also quite like to hear the other side; this sounds fairly preposterous on the face of it.
The slightest incident where I live and there are always at least 4 Police Cars and 2 Police Vans, yet they are always whinging about lack of resources.
