Manchester..dark brown
Liverpool..navy blue
Newcastle..light brown
London..broad black and white stripes
Birmingham..very dark green
Cornwall..no colour, kind of opaque
York..beige
I see lots of words in colour, particularly days of the week, and months. For instance Friday is navy blue, Saturday is yellow, and Sunday is red.
A fellow synesthete then, Ethandron?

Does it have to be based on accents, Sbrown?.....I can do it if based on the words.

No you can do it based on the words if you like gness.
sbrown95, hmmm!
O.k, here goes ..
Manchester ... Yellow .. I'm biased as I live there & though it rains it's a very vibrant City with lots to do, the people are mellow yellow with a friendly accent.
Liverpool .. Blue ... probably because of the Mersey connection & the accent is gritty & bold.
Newcastle .. Brown .. probably got Newcy brown in my head .. love the accent.
London .. Blue again .. Capitol .. Royalty .. red/white & BLUE, apples & pears accent.
Birmingham .. Grey .. strange I am not familiar with Birmingham .. I think of grey office buildings for some reason? Slow deliberate drawn out accent.
Cornwall .. green for the greenery of the area, country folk type accent.

Okay....based on my synesthesia:

Manchester....Navy Blue
Liverpool...Bottle Green
Newcastle.....Dark Orange
London.....Maroon
Birmingham......Pale Blue
Cornwall......Yellow
York....Red.

Good luck...x
Those places don't speak to me but I do it with girl's names

Monica is mustard yellow
Margaret is Royal Blue
Susan is primrose yellow
Maureen is purple
Chloe is champagne
Karen is lilac

My brain must be leakier than yours, Prudie.....☺
Maybe gness, I'm straining to make Manchester appear as a colour but it just won't happen!
