More washing up?

mmmmm baaaacon
i've just eaten a hard boiled egg but there was no bacon :-(
I'm now considering my lunch.....

Bacon sarnie with brown sauce or a BLT?
Right, egg, bacon and tattie bread tomorrow and it's all Tilly's fault!
I made some broccoli soup. I watched a Gordan Ramsey clip on youtube where he made the soup with just broccoli and the cooking water. It was surprisingly nice (with Stilton) needed lots of seasoning though.
I'm going to make some potato bread now...
It's not so healthy and more fattening ?
But for an occasional treat it is fine.
I like both !
Big bowl of Porridge followed by a full English :-)
O-G, similarly a constant diet of porridge would do you no favours either. There are few bad foods but many bad diets.

There's protein in eggs and bacon.
you're talking yourself into it tilly.

It's the guilt, l-j.
No guilt for me, I've passed it on to you, Tilly
Question Author
I can handle it, sibs. No probs.
Even so Eccles, I have difficulty staying within my target intake when I start with a substantial breakfast rather than porridge. Leave the eggs & bacon for the weekend. That said one can't get the same bacon one used to. Proper smoked back with the rind not pre-stolen. sigh
I agree about the bacon O_G

The trouble with the rind is, you have to use scissors to cut through it, otherwise it curls up whilst cooking. Then..........that's another thing to wash up.
