My treat when I was a child every Saturday was to go with my older sister to the library with a shiny 50p piece and choose 2 video tapes from the National geographic section they had.
We absolutely loved them and would watch lions and monkeys and fish illuminating the deep for hours on end and sing the theme tune every time.
I've just come across some exerts on You tube from the National Geographic and the animals never cease to amaze me.
So I just thought I'd share, enjoy!

Hmm.. the second video link won't work, it was a lovely video of a whale curious of the scuba photographer entitled 'Close encounter of the giant kind'. Oh well :-(
