Genreral enquiry - aka estie
and if he got a girl pregnant and you did the dna test would the result be the same?
no, everyone has unique DNA, even identical twins. sorry this will teach you to not sleep with your sister in law in the future
No - it would be negative, but it would be close enough to tell that your brother is related to the father. By the way, potterfan is partly incorrect - identical twins do have the same DNA - but different fingerprints.

There is no 'positive' and 'negative' test - results are given as percentage probabilities of the child X being the offspring of father Y.

So your brother may never need know...er-hum.. in this hypothetical situation, of course......

Is this something to do with the Will and Ed Grundy lurv triangle with the woman whose name I can't remember?

You mean Emmurr.

It's obvious that cool_ant is William Grundy and I claim my 5.

Pint of Shires, Jack Maude?

potterman3 is wrong. Identical (monozygotic) twins do, in fact, have identical genomes. So if you and your brother are identical twins then the DNA test would be positive.
See you in the Bull after harvest, Brachiopod. Oh, and bring me a bag of those organic carrots please.
