Sugar And Migraines

Help my partner who is 59 has suffered for years with bad headaches and migraines after endless doctors appt. pills etc., he is at a loss, he now wants to find out if sugar has been a factor also strenuous exercise could all been the cause. If anyone has any clue or suffered themselves anything at all we would be grateful for any info you may have thank you.
