If you go to a web page, and there is an equivalent App or something of the sort (like YouTube, for example) my iPad shuts the page, and opens up the App Store.

Which is really getting on my ******.

Is there a setting to stop the iPad taking me to the App Store when I don't want to go there?

Go to your 'Settings' and on the left hand side you will see ' I tunes & app store' make sure 'I tunes match' is turned off. Roughly in the middle of the screen on the right hand side.
Forgot to add. I don't have this problem so am presuming that I may be correct.

LOL

Well, thanks for trying. x
Double press the home button and the Safari icon shows at the bottom of the page (along with other apps you have open). Click on Safari and it takes you back to the place you were on the web before you oped the App.
This gets on wick as well, if I wanted the sodding app I'd get it my bloody self.

Thanks guys.

Apple are just really annoying people.
More likely to be the web page designers fault. An automatic redirect occurs when the server detects you are using a mobile device.

This is not an Apple bug, it is a deliberate action by the website.
