Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Thanks, shanetstar2! I am on my way now! 13 DOWN (?R?H? ) is giving me stress as it seems to upset the pair 24/27 ( HIT/TEW?). Elsewhere, I have worked out the "two in a row" with Shakespeare, Birds, Waterways or ditches...Tell me if I am on the right path and take me out of my misery! Thanks again!

the preamble says that one of the pairs of unclued lights forms a single word so giving Rotten Row

Thank you, Mr. Spock! Very clever, indeed! I see the light now...some of these clues are so tricky, and that's the fun of it! I should do more of these to get the hang of how the setters think!

I was assuming TEA POT - as in 'storm in a ..' but expect it is ROTTEN after all.
I cannot work out whether 38A is SNEE or SNEB, as both seem possible.
