Why Terry Wogan (BBC1 now)? Is it because he's just about the only long standing BBC employee who's not involved in some sort of scandal?

He's semi retired so cheap. Besides he has spent years working at dawn which makes him a reasonably relevant choice.

Good point, that hasn't occurred to me. I'm not a morning person, which is probably why he irritates the hell out of me, being all chirpy first thing!

Surprised at Jim Davidson's comment on Celeb BB (daughter watched it!). He said "it was 38 years ago!". Didn't sound like a denial to me.
