no letters available jim jools, they are just questions, thanks .
2. Liffey (l=learner, iffey=sounds like iffy)
1. Paro (PA + R) + (1 - 1 = O)
Where in Britain is the River Paro, John? I ask because I came up with the same reasoning as you, but had never heard of it. The question title reads: "Rivers of Great Britain'!

Come to think of it, the Liffey isn't in Britain either! The British Isles...yes...but not Britain.

What's going on, Claybury?

Thanks quizmonster & other s for replies so soon. The quiz involved say,s British Rivers , I presumed this meant Great Britain. Not sure of River Paro either. another answer from other sources gave me River Parret. Thanks,
Good Morning Quizmonster. Yes, you're absolutely right! River Paro is in Bhutan, a few miles south of the Isle of Wight . . .
There's a River Par in Cornwall (father + right - perhaps one from one gives nothing, ie. blank?)
Nice idea, Salty. Now, all we need to get the Britishness angle sorted out is for the Liffey to rise in Fermanagh instead of Wicklow! Cheers
