What are you cooking for Christmas dinner?
We've just had a meander around the supermarket and as none of us like turkey I decided we are having gammon this year.
Mr O is veggie and he is having one of those fake turkey Quorn rolls

Ah, I see the question mark now - no I'm having breast of pheasant roasted alongside the turkey crown. I have just prepared them this afternoon.

I will be starting with beetroot cured salmon to be followed by black treacle cured fillet of beef.

Eccles, your menu sounds so good I may just abandon the family and come to yours
Roast pork, a corn fed chicken stuffed with a couple of quarters of lemon and orange, honey and whole grain mustard roast parsnips and carrots, roast sprouts with lardon and roast potatoes, redcurrant sauce and cranberry sauce, all washed down with a couple of glasses of Gran reserva Rioja, thats mine.
