Your ipod is plugged in isn't it? ;-)

I must admit to being a novice but YES it's plugged in. over the weekend I managed to add over 100 songs. don't understand what is happening. thanx anyway
Ok, if it's not appearing in the side bar then your computer doesn't seem to think it is plugged in, what is showing on the screen of the ipod? Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, stopping and restarting itunes?
You don't need to drag albums to your ipod anyway, once it is recognised just click on it and you should get a series of tabs/buttons at the top of the screen, one should be music, if you click that there will be an option to sync music to the ipod, if you select that and the sync all music then all your music should be sent to your ipod. The next time you reconnect the ipod anything that you've added to itunes since will be sent automatically.
As above pop...once your music is on the library...Just plug in your iPod and synchronize...your entire collection will go over !
Do you have remaining space on iPod ?
