leaking washing machine

hi my washing machine leaked there was loads and load s of water come out of it, it wouldent spin or anything either it emtied but just wouldent spin any ideas as to what might be wrong with it and how much it might cost to repair or would i just be better of gettin a new one. thanks

Could it be the door seal?, it would leak if it was that, it happened to us and thats all it was, the drum never spun also, we only found out what it was when we called an engineer.

probably the filter at the front of the washing machine, low down behind little square door, these often block causing the machine to fill, leak and not spin. Clean the filter and almost certainly will do the trick

Same thing happens to mine and it's always the filter needs cleaning

I bet there's a coin stuck in one of the tubes attached to the pump. lie it on its side, remove the surclips, unblock and make good

Yea I agree with clevis sounds like there's a blockage in the pump.
