I have to make up a quiz sheet for a youth group visiting Central London in the lead up to Christmas. I need 20 questions of varying degrees of difficulty for youngsters between 12-16. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

Is it something they have to answer off the top of their head or can they research the answers?
Loads online if you google, here's one site http://www.funtrivia.com/quizzes/geography/england/london.html
A very simple one involving a tube map, where they all have a map and have to identify stations from clues. For instance, manufactured part of a wedding dress....Maida vale. Google tube map quiz and you will find ideas and questions.
Could ask them why whats his name is still manager of spurs

LOL .... thanks. I think there should be some observational questions ie. how many lions surround Nelson's Column? Landmarks at either end of a The Mall etc. I like the tube idea too. Thanks
Not sure if it might be too difficult, but print out a blank map of London and they have to fill in some names. Go for the more obvious ones such as Richmond or Kingston, Croydon, Enfield, Westminster and their own school area. Or have the names of the areas as anagrams, (you could do this with tube names too).
Name as many museums and art galleries as you can.
Pictures of kings and queens of England to be identified.
What are the following places famous for? The Royal Mint, Billingsgate Market, Speakers' Corner, 221 Baker Street, 11 Downing Street etc.
Hope this is of some help.
