And Whitechapel. I'm very disappointed, especially because of Ripper Street which I think is one of the best dramas on BBC for a long time.

I liked the first series of Ripper St, found the second bemusing and this one laughable. Sad to hear of Whitechapel's demise, it always hit the spot well.
Have to say, I never really got into either, so the fact that they have been axed is no loss to me :)
I don't think that they should have moved Ripper Street from Sunday night viewing.
Actor Jermone Flynn first revealed the news on BBC London 94.9, and urged commissioners to reconsider.

"We're all in absolute shock because it's a wonderful job," the show's star told the radio station.
Any reasoning behind the decision? Budget cuts, poor viewing figures?
No vested interest from Jerome though is there !.
Probably got to save the money for executive pay-offs and compensation for their former employee's victims.....
