Still shy of real life which I believe it should be if we cannot have the death penalty, 27 years minimum, but it is a step in the right direction.

Any takers on how long it will be before some scum lawyer takes this to the ECHR (no doubt on public money) claiming it violates his Human right to something or other though?

AOG - it's not all about you!!

Because it is reasonable sentencing what is there to debate?
I find it astonishing that Nicholas Kutner only got seven years.
@AOG

I dont worry about how may replies etc i might get....Is what would be more interesting is the amount of views a post gets...theres certain posters on here who dont /wont reply to "particular posts" but you can bet your bottom dollar theyve read them and its got them spitting feathers.....haha
Well, I read a lot and don't comment because I have strong views on the sentencing system in Britain. I think it could be more severe in a lot of cases and I think that life should mean life especially when a child or young person has had their lives taken. And as for community service, a robber who destroys someone's peace of mind and take their possessions especially things of sentimental value, community service is just not enough.
