Does anyone wear one or recommend one?

I have a physical job and get the odd twinge...

Moved a large TV myself today and can definately feel the strain..

Id do good to protect my back i think ...my parents have sore backs/ sciatica and i can definately feel the odd pain in my back and sciatic nerve..

Im not in agony by any matter of means... Some of the poor ones in my work really suffer x

try a Belladona plaster, they're good for support & relief but you shouldn't be exerting yourself moving heavy things. Take care tinx x

speaking as a retired occupational therapist, the best protection for your back is strong muscles and avoiding doing things that could damage it!
your employer has legal responsibilities to ensure that you can work in a way that will minimise the risk of injury.

I lifted patients before the LOLER regs came in and have the iffy back to prove it. Once your back is damaged, that is it, please be careful.

My husband got a back support from Screwfix which he wears when lifting bags in the garden. It wraps round and is fixed with velcro, and he swears by it.

Hello Tinkerbell how the hell are you??
If you are serious and from someone that has had his L5/S1 disc removed. Keep your weight down, exercise regularly, maybe take up Pilates. Best to do it before the problems start!!
Lots of love,
Gavin
P.s DO NOT MOVE ANYTHING THAT IS AWKWARD ON YOUR OWN!!!
