Is it just me or did this programme used to be less sad? I don't remember getting tearful watching the last series.

I have seen a few of those and do find them quite sad sometimes. I've only recently seen them though, so i don't know if the format or filming has changed. I wonder whether your recent experiences have made you more sensitive to it? I'm definitely more emotional about things like that as I've got older and particularly, since i had children.
I agree with Pix, we get softer as we get older, I cry at everything :-)
Are you referring to last weeks showing sherrardk, as it was all about old people dying I think, and how the emergency service deals with it.

Yes it was very sad but, it just shows you what they have to face daily/nightly, don't think I could do it.

Hope tonight is just about people breaking legs etc, and they all live. :-)
Well the latest episode was about death - I found it very moving and showed compassion that made my eyes sting, especially with the terminally ill lady.
I much preferred it when it was biased in Blackpool

I think I preferred it when it was based in Blackpool, didn't seem so intense somehow.
