Svejk...I have read your posts. I have not unduly been aggressive, just assertive. in the same way that you and others have been on here today and every other day. This isn't a debate in a Convent, its AB and all human life is reflected here.

If that has upset you...well, that wasn't my intention. But what you have said today about Food Banks is drivel, and I felt it was my duty, as a volunteer with the Trussell Trust, to make that clear. We work very hard to help our fellow citizens who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Again, I suggest you visit a local Food Bank and find out for yourself. Your help would be gladly accepted. Look post flump1's post of this evening... a voice of reason and charity, which we can all learn from.

Then we would appear to agree naomi....you, me and Dave !

The trouble is, there is growing evidence that the work of ATOS leaves a lot to be desired. It is, at best, inefficient and at worse maybe corrupt. And that is up to Dave and his government to sort it out.
LG, surely under a long-standing, beneficent, Labour government, this facility shouldn’t have existed at all? They kept that one quiet - Dennis Skinner included! Hopefully, when Dave sorts the benefits abusers out, the money saved can go to those who genuinely need it.
one of Svejk comments stands out....

"I wouldn't dream of 'grassing' anyone up "

Why not Svejk? They were, in your words, exploiting the system, the system that is now so apparently crippled with a cash flow problem that there's the need for food banks for everyone else.
