Five times he has refused to leave Britain, the immigration minister himself told him to go on live television, this is the minister who supports a van touring the country, with the harmless message, "go home or face arrest".

Yet this is just one of many that refuses to go, supported apparently by the Lib Dems who dismissed the vans as 'silly', Labour who accused the Tories of using the ‘language of the National Front’, and The Advertising Standards Authority who said the 'go home' slogan was 'distasteful'.

They could start by saving the fuel that this van uses, so withdrawing any warning and when these illegals are caught, they should be sent back from whence they came almost immediately, yes let's defy Europe and see what they can do about it.

This type of thing would never happen in any other country, when is Britain to get it's back bone back, that back bone that made Britain Great?

but its labour and their loony leftie open door policies thats actively encouraged it, telling us how wonderful a multi-cultural society it is. instead of letting those that were either too blinkered to see it or lived out in the back and beyond how much damage its done and how whole areas look like theyre towns in india, africa, jamaica etc etc etc and how whites are now the minority in a lot of these places etc etc etc

only reason millipede is even mentioniong it now is becasue he sees votes, otherwise hed be silent on it.

Conservatives have also done their bit but at the end of the day its not important who did it, its now how we stop it and make sure this country retains some sort of identity, but sadly there are laws to curtail free speech on a subject that a lot of people feel extremely strongly about...the steady loss of a countrys culture and identity

Apparently your link is a BBC one, now read this Independent one.

Gromit, surely it was John Major who opted us out of the eurozone.
the only way you will get them to leave is to round them up and stick them on a plane, those who bunk into Britain illegally may not have understood the vans going around with illegals should go home, if they do not speak English. It is not a pointless exercise, however we have far too many and certainly in our bigger cities. One can understand those being lost in the system, and especially those who get access to corrupt council, government officials who can provide the fake documents they need so they can get their National insurance numbers and once you have that, it's a gateway to all you can ask for. Not to forget the sham marriage brokers, and endless other ways they get to stay...

somewhere in there should be an answer, it takes some reading.. and working out,

Major didn't opt out, he was dumped out after Black Wednesday.

And I did say Labour kept us out of the EuroZone not opted out. In the 13 years of the Labour Government, we could have joined the € many times, but didn't.

With respect, that link is rubbish. It is a series of columnists' opinions. My link was a survey of many people in different countries, not one person in one country.

And I'm afraid uou have done it again. You have gone out of your way to find a link (a bad one) that puts us down as a country. You seem to rejoice in running us down, you do it day after day. You should try and love your country and support it.

We have had three years of not Labour and guess what? Immigration is still increasing. By the hundreds of thousands per year.
I like my country and I cannot understand why/how this person has not been deported. How many bites of the cherry does the law allow, it's my taxes that pay.
Mark Harper is my MP. This is the first time I can give him a pat on the back. I have emailed him on numerous occasions when I have disagreed with him, especially on Forest matters where he doesn't vote to save the Forest of Dean.

Was that Gromit who put this, the Gromit who hates the British police, the British armed forces, the British Royal family and most other things British except of course his beloved Labour party?

Let us hope that you email him and state that you agree with him over this then.

/// We have had three years of not Labour and guess what? Immigration is still increasing. By the hundreds of thousands per year. ///

the number of immigrants coming to this country has actually dropped.

/// Over the same period, the number of immigrants arriving in the country dropped from 566,000 to 497,000, figures showed. ///

If there has been an increase that is because fewer people are leaving the UK.

/// The increase was driven by a drop in the number of migrants leaving Britain, which fell from 351,000 to 321,000 in the year to December 2012, the ONS found. ///

/// Immigration minister Mark Harper said net migration was down by a third since its peak in 2010. ///
