my disc drive is a 'LITEON CD-ROM' LTN486

can i play DVD's. i did try once but after putting one in it just wirr's 4 a bit then nothin any attempt's after this is met with the answer the disc drive is empty.


is it possible to download the stuff i need to play DVD's and or something that let's me burn info onto CD's


i know it's a long shot but when i saw DVD as the device type i thought it might be worth a post.

No, the device type is a catch-all.


Why not just replace the drive, a dual-layer DVD Re-writer can now be bought for less than �25 and is simple to install.
