I saw the kindest thing yesterday in an unusual place. I was taking my mother shopping and the supermarket (Morrison's) was packed, huge mega place can't see one end from the other, scowling faces jostling trollies. Anyway, we came up to this old feeble lady pushing her trolley looked like she was in a different world and struggling. Next thing the manager was beside her addressing her as Mrs **** asking if she was ok, when she said she was feeling a bit tired he suggested she take his arm and go get a cup of tea while one of his staff finished her shopping (she had a list). When we finished we saw the lady being helped into a taxi by a member of staff. Made my day.

Ahhh...was she the secret shopper ?
Question Author
murraymints I bloody hope not if she was she was a damn good actress lol
that would have made mine too. I nearly had bad manners on Wed when I went round to see friend in fold - rang for door to be open and was let in - when I noticed another old lady walking towards this door and without thinking (I was saying to myself - oh she has a key) I nearly shut the door on her face.

But quickly I regained my senses and stayed at the open door until she came through. I was saying to myself "have you lost your marbles - you nearly closed the door on that lady's face"
Or the manager's mum. ;)
