ford galaxy dvd player
is the dvd player (blaupunkt?) in a ford galaxy able to be displayed on front display as well as rear headrests? is it able to play non-original discs? any help or anything else to do with this subject is extremely welcome

The DVD player in my new Galaxy is happy to play original DVD and DVD-RW (video) plus original CD and CD-R (audio or MP3).
I don't have a front display and I believe there's limitations in terms of viable mixes e.g. you can't have the full colour sav-nav and DVD as options on the same vehicle.
However, the Galaxy was around for a long time (the last one's came off the line in November last year) and many different audio/video systems have been used over the years.
What year/model are you looking at?
