I want to buy the series of Simon Reeves Documentary's for my daughter in OZ of his travels around the world that were on BBC, just wondered if the work down under?

No, they won`t. Uk is region 2 and Oz is region 5. Your daughter should be able to make her DVD player multi-regional though (unless it`s Sony) by getting the info on how to do that on the internet.

might do, I think a lot of region-free players are on sale down under but it would depend if your daughter has one.
