Good evening and welcome to tonight's meeting of the Mad over Fifties Club.
Our tailcock tonight, a cheeky little latin number, will be the "Strictly Cha Cha Cha" a tribute to the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing. The hot plate special tonight a warming chicken casserole (well the temperatures have dropped) and on the pudding trolley we have a delicious creamy rice pudding, accompanied by a fruit compote. As always there is a varied selection of volley vonts and canopies
Up in the gallery the Minstrels are warming up, ready to give us their usual madrigals and toccattas, later on they have promised us a tribute to the greatest hits of AC/DC we might find ourselves well on the Highway to Hell this night!
For your further delight, performing in the ballroom will be local band the Tone Deafs playing some classics from the fifties. Also performing in the ballroom tonight, The great Marvo! Magician Extrordinaire! and is beautiful assistant Ethel.
On the north Tower the got tub is bubbling away, the mini bar as been refilled (yet again), the race track is open and the cars all revved up! The indoor swimming pool open (swimsuits are available) Members are encouraged to make full use of the facilities, the games room, and the library are all open for members (we have drained the outdoor pool) The bungee is ready for anyone wishing a "bounce" (just be mindful of the piranhas in the moat - they have been known to bite)
For the rofl tonight I offer:
A bag of tree clippings
tree loppers (busted)
Barometer (broken)
set of three paint tins (empty)
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

carriages at midnight

no just got nice legs, shame about the face, think bag of spanners
Question Author
None. I used the term "trees" loosely. There are a few shrubs which needed attention and they "got" it! Probably left it a bit late for some but I didn't go in too hard, just a bit of a haircut
Useful for shrubbery also, Daisy.
Didn't realise tree loppers were green and grew. What sort of shrubs are they?
Question Author
The only one I know for sure is a weigelia. The others not a clue they were here when we moved in. There's a camellia out in front of the house but I won't touch that as I should have done that once the flowers went over (though I ought to have done the same for the weigelia too)
Oh I forgot to say nite nite and thank you.

Good night Mammar, until next time.
Thanks for Happy Talk Tony. Funnily enough the only one I could think of when I requested something cheerful.
Thanks nungate for your hospitality. Best wishes to all at the Towers.
Totsiens. Slaap lekker.
Your welcome Daisy, G' night.
Question Author
Good night Daisy, see you in the funny papers. Safe journey.
Goodnight Madame Daisy. I hope you have a good flight home, see you next time.
Madame I have assembled the staff and sent Frank to your chambers to wait for you. I hope he behaves
Question Author
Thank you Igor I shall be there presently. What do you want me to do with him?
I'd rather leave that to you Madame, but if you ask me he needs a jolt to the electrodes!
Question Author
Very well then Igor. You may set the staff to the clear up while I attend to Frank and his misdemeanors.

I shall be in my chambers
Oh gawd, not the taser again for poor Frank. Poor guy, he'll never learn.
Question Author
AH, Tony, you've just caught me I'm on my way up to deal with Frank. Taser? No no no! He'd enjoy that! I'll be taking away his chain until he learns to behave, and he'll be on dishwashing for a week!
Ah right nungate, looks like he's gotta learn the hard way.
Question Author
Tough love Tony, tough love
I'm afraid that sometimes it's the only way, nungate.
