Download the picture on to your pc first and remember where you put it. Right on empty part of desktop and click on 'personalise' or 'change desktop background' then follow the prompts clicking apply and ok where necessary.
Jae.....I honestly think that the advise from SA is better than mine. It does appear to be simpler. In fact I have now tried the two methods and, please both smile, I messed up on my own advice and employed SA's to put my screen back to its original background.

It's incredibly what different backgrounds one can have and how easy it is to revert to the original. I now have my Avatar; which is 'so, so' and for the moment is ok.

I know the way you were suggesting but decided it could get 'tricky' which made me go the way I did. More than one way to 'skin a cat' lol

Hi ya all, thanks for the help. I manage to work out what the problem was. I was trying to change the background pic on google chrome and for some reason it wouldn't do it, however when I tried it on IE it worked. I type in the pic I wanted in the search, click on images, right click images a drop down bar appears and I click on set as background. Thanks to everyone who helped.
