Seriously, when my xbl subs run out I'm going back to the simplicity of the old ps2 and old school gaming.
My xbox is asking me for email and password before it will sign me into live. Never needed this before, but seems to want it now for security reasons.
I know my email/password combi and I can sign onto xbox.com on the laptop with it, but when entering it onto the console it says the password is wrong.

still busted triggs. I googled the problem and took advice to clear out the memory cache and re-download my profile.
got halfway through it and keep getting the error message 'cannot download profiles at this time'. It has also deleted my profile as part of this process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! On the upside I have been playing Ghost Recon: Island Thunder from an old original xbox game.
