We are going camping on Sat night. Just for one night. Consequently, I don't want to pack a load of cooking equipment. I shall have two gas rings at my disposal. What would you cook in advance to take with you just to heat through (and please not chilli, it has a terrible effect on Mr BM and I just KNOW the toilets at this event will be less than salubrious).

I've never been keen on Pot Noodle. My former uni housemates were obsessed with them and we had a Pot Noodle "wall" in our house, all the tops put on the wall by order of flavour to see which one won by the end of the year. I preferred to contribute to the beer bottle mountain though our life size Des Lynam cardboard cut out was hard to beat....those were the days!
Off topic(but we have drifted a bit)
My dad would never touch 'foreign muck'. Lol. Can you imagine going through your life having never tried Chinese, Indian or even Italian food. He might not have actually said 'foreign muck' but the sentiment was there.
I buy the paella one in lidls when they have it. It makes a quick, tasty lunch.
I just take some cuppa soup, if it's only for one night: it hardly seems worth the effort otherwise. But that's just my opinion.
