1st sighting 9 27pm for 4 minutes S departing ESE

2nd sighting 11 02 pm for 5 minutes W departing E

Also the HTV supply ship is on route to the ISS with a possible sighting at 10 14 pm for 2 minutes SSW departing SE

There should be a double flyby sighting as it nears the station on Thursday. Hoping for clear skies.

Thanks wendilla, stand a much better chance tonight.

Yep, it's looking good here atm!

Looking good here too in the midlands.
Timings highly dependent on your location though.

Despite what it says, site registration isn't compulsory. Set your lat/long manually or by selecting a placename then follow the ISS flybys link.

After setting your position, don't post any full length URLs if you don't want people to know exactly where you live!

Hypognosis I have been posting these times for over 5 years and there is not a lot of difference in the timings as it passes over. It is always dead on time as you will know .It could affect people watching for it if it is only a 1 minute pass over.
wendillas timings are spot on...
Question Author
Thanks Stoke. I find the heavens -above sight a bit complicated and it don't give all the times. Might be ok to some that really knows a lot more than I do.
Thanks wendilla, we've always used this one which I think you gave us - it's always spot on http://spotthestation.nasa.gov/sightings/view.cfm?country=United_Kingdom&region=England&city=Canterbury
Question Author
Yes boxtops that is the one I have always used and always accurate.
Question Author
fantastic view lovely clear sky. Might check for the supply ship at 10 14pm.
Very good view here (South Hampshire, UK) of the 9:30 fly-by.

Very good tonight, N/Kent,
2 outa 3 ain't bad, I forgot the 2nd one
Question Author
Tried for the supply ship but no luck. Still have a couple of more nights for that especially Thursday as they will be practically side by side. But I did see a couple of shooting stars.
Didn't see the space station but at around 11.15pm last night I was walking the dog and there was what looked just like the ISS, same path , that must have been the supply ship. Can't be sure of the exact time I didn't have a watch.
Question Author
Could have been the SS as it went over again at 11 02.
Must have been the SS then, I saw a few shooting stars as well.
probably too low in the sky for me tonight, but should be better in a couple of days, I hope!
^^ oops that's 2 days' ago's thread!
