Hi - I need to find a freestanding washer/dryer that's under the standard height of 850mm. I'm contacting lots of manufacturers but in the meantime, does anybody know of one? Thanks.

How much under the standard height ? You could lose a few mm off the bottom by removing the plastic feet (if fitted) and the top normally sits quite high, this could be dropped a little bit there needs to be a gap for the balancing weight to jump around !
Find a white goods service centre and see if they are happy to adapt one.

Thanks, Iggle, I need to lose about 10mm height, so it needs to be 840mm or less measured from the flat floor. Width isn't a problem, and depth I'll have to put up with if it sticks out a bit! Have found a few at 845mm from a compay called Amica, so I've emailed them to ask if that's from the floor or including any feet.
