It will be fab, Ratter, looking at the bigger picture :-)
Absolutely, and that is what to remember, ratter. "Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your lives." A hackneyed expression perhaps, but one that offers a lot of truth and the focus to get through any short-term problems in the days/weeks and few months to come......
If it helps, the weather forecast is Dry and Warm through into next week.
Ratter it will be all worth it in the end, I hope everything goes well for you all.
Sorry but I'm not up to date with all this. I thought you lived in Devon, why are you moving to Wales?
I hope it all goes smoothly for you Ratter, Carakeel, Mum and hounds. It'll be hard work I know, but once you're there, you can settle in at your own pace and start a new wonderful life. Good luck.
Good luck (and good night ratter). As others have said, I'm sure it will be worth it.
Ratter I truly hope your move goes well, for all of you especially Mum in Law.
Good luck. Certain to go better than you expect.
Why are you up so late Fred?
Was on the phone to Canada, ummmm 2am here is 9pm there
Best wishes to you all ratter on you move to Wales - all will go well - be positive - laugh at little mishaps, they will eventually become your memories.x
not that i remember much about moving, haven't done it in many years, but i believe it's one of the most stressful times, good luck

Curvylady, We are moving from Devon to Wales to a smallholding where we can have lots of animals to open an Animal Assisted Therapy centre for people with mental and physical disabilities. We chose Wales because everything is cheaper, the people are lovely, the planners are far more accepting of our ideas around sustainable living and the scenery is breathtaking especially where we will be in the Wye Valley.

murraymints //have you told the pooches yet?// I actually said to Carakeel last night, I would give anything to be able to explain to them what is going on, they are looking a little stressed to be honest, they dont understand why the house is full of boxes and we are rushing around like chickens with their heads cut off, they are confused by it all. They will love it up there with massive fields to run in every day :-) and a horse that is smaller than they are to play with lol.

em10, //are you meeting up with Welshy..//

No plans yet but we may well do that, I'm not sure what area Welshy is in to be honest. I think we have a few AB members living in Wales, I just cant remember who they are and what areas.
Very best of luck to both of you, and the dogs xx
Sounds lovely, good luck with your venture.
