Failed MOT and retesting

If your car fails it's MOT and you take it to another garage with the new system, going trough the VOSA computer system will it show up when they enter the reg when retesting.

It failed on emmisions but I'm sure the cat hasn't gone, could it be the lambda unit, airfilter, need of an oil change etc. Thanks in advance

no if u take it to another testing station it will have to go through a full test try puttin a cleaner in the petrol tank such as redex or FORTE injector cleaner and give ur car a good run ie 10-15 miles at top speeds b4 taking it to the mot station.make sure ur exhaust isn't blowing that could cause the emissions too fail
