Samsung tablet galaxy question.

I am looking to buy an unlocked samsung galaxy tablet. Am I correct in thinking I can put my 02 chip in it? At the moment I get free internet access on my payg phone chip. Does this mean I can use the same chip, and have the same access to the internet on a samsung galaxy? Hope that makes sence. Thanks in advance.
