Do those Scandanavians not appreciate that Gnomes are held in great affection here in the UK?

But wasn't there traces of horse in their meatballs?
Their hotdogs could also be horsemeat, not being said which part though, I'll leave tony to his swedish "hotdog"
My mother used to have moulds of gnomes and made them with cement. I think that annoying my father was her main reason for making them.

There was also a papier mache chicken - three feet tall.
In this context boxy the word 'hotdog' is a bit worrying.
Mmmmmm, I seem to have gone off their Hot Dogs now for some strange reason !.
This is pure & unadulterated Gnomeaphobia & I think that the Swedes have gone too far this time. This could mean a very poor Christmas this year, the word is already going around that Santa's helpers are talking work to rule & a possible strike unless an apology is published on you tube immediately.

Was the film not a creation of the same team who brought us Wallander? I really admired the reference and homage to Ingmar Bergman; the story of gnomes as a history of the human spirit, the film may be thought of as consisting of two elements: an escape from this world to another; and a return to it. Chronologically speaking, these two movements, the rise and fall represent the whole of human history; and take place micro-cosmically many times in peoples and nations. But they may be thought of as taking place simultaneously or rather beyond time, and then they form an ontological description of human nature.
